On-Demand Trainings
Recognizing the need for housing counselors to have flexible and dynamic learning opportunities, we’ve launched our first on-demand training opportunity, Compliance Matters: The 2024 Definitive HUD Data Compliance Course for HUD-Certified Housing Counselors.
Note: New enrollments for Compliance Matters are on pause through the end of December 2025 to accommodate scheduled maintenance and updates, ensuring the course meets the highest standards and reflects the most current HUD requirements. Access for current active students will retain uninterrupted access to their course materials through December 31, 2024. We are excited to relaunch an updated, enhanced version of the course on January 1, 2025.

Our Housing Action Training Center offers a limited number of training scholarships for housing counselors who work for HUD-approved agencies.
Reasonable Accommodations

Many of our trainings are now virtual, hosted through Zoom, enabling participants from across the nation to join us.
Housing Matters Conference
Each year, we bring together as many as 350 housing professionals who care about expanding and protecting affordable housing and ending homelessness in Illinois. Our 2024 Housing Matters Conference just took place October 17–18 in Bloomington, IL. Stay tuned for details about next year’s gathering.
