As co-leader of the Illinois Community Reinvestment Act (IL CRA) Coalition, we shaped implementation for the new state law that requires banks, credit unions, and mortgage lenders to invest in the communities where they do business, and began public education and engagement to help nonprofit partners and financial institutions connect and meet community needs.
