With just a few clicks and by entering basic information, potential clients can connect with HUD-approved housing counseling agencies in their area. By visiting mypathtohome.org, users can enter their information and select preferences for in-person or virtual sessions. The platform then automatically forwards this data to the nearest participating agency, which will follow up to schedule a first counseling session–streamlining the intake process and reducing wait times.
MPTH is designed to expand access to essential housing counseling services by breaking down barriers, especially for households that have been underserved in the past. It aims to improve intake efficiency and increase referrals for counseling agencies.
