In 2023, we welcomed our first housing counseling affiliate beyond the Midwest, an organization based in Tennessee. We also expanded our Housing Action Corps to six states beyond Illinois to address the nationwide shortage of housing counselors. This initiative leverages our AmeriCorps program with our housing counseling expertise to build the capacity of housing counseling programs and establish a pipeline of HUD-certified housing counselors.
