Each year, our Housing Action Training Center brings a robust lineup of trainings for nonprofit housing professionals, with a specific focus on educating housing counselors.
We also host an annual conference, annual benefit, member events, webinars, and gatherings to educate participants about key housing issues and policy campaigns.

On-Demand Trainings
Recognizing the need for housing counselors to have flexible and dynamic learning opportunities, we’ve launched our first on-demand training opportunity, Compliance Matters: The 2024 Definitive HUD Data Compliance Course for HUD-Certified Housing Counselors.
Note: New enrollments for Compliance Matters are on pause to accommodate scheduled maintenance and updates, ensuring the course meets the highest standards and reflects the most current HUD requirements. We are excited to relaunch an updated, enhanced version of the course after the next HUD Handbook update.

Our Housing Action Training Center offers a limited number of training scholarships for housing counselors who work for HUD-approved agencies.
Reasonable Accommodations
Please submit all requests for reasonable accommodations when you register for a training. We will do our best to meet all requests, but to ensure that your request can be met, we ask that you let us know at least one week in advance. Questions?
Many of our trainings are now virtual, hosted through Zoom, enabling participants from across the nation to join us.
