Fair Housing Requirements and Regulations Training
March 3rd Training from 9:00am- 4:00pm, Reception 4:00pm-6:00pm
Join Access Living, CSH, Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance, and Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for a FREE, one-day training focusing on Fair Housing requirements and regulations that spell out the obligations of jurisdictions, housing developments, and housing counselors throughout the State of Illinois. Training participants will gain working knowledge of:
- Fair housing for persons with disabilities
- The Olmsted federal guide
- Cultural competency
- Language access
- The importance of connecting residents to areas of opportunity.
The training session will also include breakout sessions for staff that are focused on rental housing and home ownership to discuss specific implementation strategies. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Learn more about the event on the Training Flyer!
