We hope you and your families are well during this unprecedented public health crisis. More than ever, maintaining your health and well-being are top priorities.

Housing Action understands that there have been widespread personal and professional impacts due to COVID-19, and we are all adapting to a new normal. Due to the virus, many testing centers are closed; you can visit this webpage to see updates for closures of Kryterion test centers around the world, including North America.

We will update this page and share word with our networks if any extension is announced, but as of now (May 10, 2020), the individual certification deadline is still set for August 1, 2020.

Although certification may be the least of our worries at this point in time, this new normal may provide additional time to study for the exam. Housing Action will be hosting a week-long online study group the week of June 8. See below for more information and to register.

August 2020 will be here before you know it.

Studying for the HUD Housing Counseling certification exam can be stressful—but it doesn’t have to be! We’re here to support housing counselors and housing counseling agencies prepare.

The study group was indispensable in so many ways!! Your advice was spot on and I fully utilized both the assessment and pre-test to gauge progress.

“I had taken the test once and didn’t pass and was actually very upset and disappointed that I didn’t pass, especially since I had been counseling for over 9 years. I was determined, and after searching the web and other webinars, I found your study group recordings…after studying at least 1-2 hours every other day using your slides, videos and the HUD exam training website – I was able to pass the exam yesterday.”

I passed the HUD exam last Friday. Your webinar, practice questions and study tips really helped me. Thanks so much!
