March 31 | Lagunitas Brewing Company | Chicago, IL

Our Annual Toast to Housing Justice, originally scheduled for March 31, has been canceled due to the COVID-19 virus.

We are facing an unprecedented health emergency both around the world and here in Illinois, and the health, safety, and well-being of our supporters and staff is our first priority. We want to take every step we can to help prevent the spread of this virus.

Understandably, this is a time when most of us are focused on the whirlwind of news updates, our personal situations, and the circumstances of our friends and families. As an organization, Housing Action Illinois must also think further ahead. We ask that supporters consider their ticket purchase a donation to support our work. However, if you would like to request a partial or full refund, email us and we will send one your way.

Given that the Toast to Housing Justice is our only fundraising event, we would deeply appreciate the generosity of anyone able to make a donation at this time. With so many unknowns about the lasting effects of this pandemic, any support will bolster Housing Action Illinois and better position us to advocate for vulnerable populations such as people experiencing homelessness and low-income renters and homeowners, who will be disproportionately affected by this crisis.

Last, but not least, we want to share our gratitude for the dedication and generosity of our supporters and members. We could not do our work without you.

Let’s Toast to Housing Justice!

Shake off the winter blues and make a toast to housing justice at Housing Action Illinois’ fourth annual benefit. Join us for a fun evening of pizza, beer, music, and friendly faces—and a chance to win great prizes at our raffle and silent auction. Best of all, by attending, you’ll support Housing Action’s work toward an Illinois where everyone has a good, affordable place to call home.
