Joyce Hothan

Joyce Hothan‘s career has been focused in the areas of social service delivery and administration. Joyce recently retired from her position as the Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. For almost twenty years now, Joyce has worked exclusively in housing, first as Executive Director of Bridge Communities, a transitional housing program for homeless families in DuPage County for sixteen years. Subsequently, she has held the role of Chief Development Officer for Equity Sharing Partners, NFP, an organization committed to buying vacant foreclosed homes, rehabbing them, and selling them to moderate-income families in the western suburbs. Joyce has also been co-chair of the DuPage Housing Action Coalition, a housing advocacy group, and was the 2013 winner of The Robert Christ Award from the DuPage Homeownership Center for her outstanding leadership in the area of affordable housing. Joyce resides in Glen Ellyn with her husband Hal and has two grown children.
