Amina Farha

Amina_FarhaAmina Farha joined Housing Action Illinois in July 2019. As a Membership and Development VISTA, she works on communications, fundraising, and member outreach, as well as the Community Revitalization Challenge. Previously, she was a freelance writer and editor. She has also worked in real estate as a leasing agent. Amina earned her B.A. at the University of Michigan, where she studied film—focusing on documentary for social change—and biopsychology. During her time at the University of Michigan, she was a News Staff Writer for The Michigan Daily. She also served on the executive board of the Film and Video Student Association. Amina is currently pursuing a Certificate in Nonprofit Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
