Our annual Housing Matters! Conference was a huge success. We had more attendees (200+) and corporate sponsors (7) than ever.

As always, there was lots of learning in the sessions and networking in between them. Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets (we raised over $2,000) and congratulations to the winners.

Scholarships: Thanks to the generosity of PNC Bank, we are able to offer a very limited number of scholarships. We must therefore limit them to ONE individual per member organization that otherwise could not afford to attend this conference. The scholarships will allow a limited number of individuals to have their registration fee waived and will be based on financial need and other factors. Please complete this form (downloadable as a Word document) by 5 p.m. October 14, 2012 and return it to katia@housingactionil.org or fax it to 312-939-6822.

Lodging

The Parke Hotel & Conference Center (1413 Leslie Drive, Bloomington) will be hosting the 2012 Conference. As of October 8, the hotel is sold out. To check if rooms become available call 309-662-4300 and mention you are attending the Housing Action Illinois Annual Conference.

In response, we have set up a discount rate with Country Inns and Suites (2403 E. Empire Street, Bloomington), which is less than a ten minute drive from the conference site, for $109-$129 depending on room type. Bookings must be made online by going to www.countryinns.com/bloomingtonil_normal, put in the dates you are needing a reservation and type in the following PROMO CODE: HOUSE. Housing Action Illinois is holding a fundraising raffle at our Annual Conference.

We've got five great prizes:
